I received an e-mail saying that my security deposit has expired. Why?
When you pay a security deposit we place an authorization hold in the amount of your deposit on your method of payment. This hold appears on your billing statement as a pending transaction for the amount of your deposit. Your bank or credit card company will only allow us to place this hold for 30 days. After 30 days the hold automatically expires and the pending transaction is removed, voiding your deposit. The pending transaction may be removed immediately after your the hold expires or it may take up to a billing cycle depending on your bank.
